2017 Reading Goals

Every year for the last few years I have made a list of reading goals. And every year I fall short. Some of this is just life, seasons and other things outside of my control. But, if I am being honest, a lot of it is due to poor use of time. All those minutes wasted scrolling Facebook, all those hours wasted watching junk TV. But, I am more aware and taking better stock of my time and I am confident this year I can at least come close.

The overview goals are: Read 30 minutes each day and complete 36 books plus some kids books. Also, keep in mind I am taking a class with the Catechetical Institute and am reading the CCC on top of life and these books.

Year Long Devotional

A Book of Saints for Catholic Moms by Lisa Hendey

Book Club Books
My little book club I started last summer is now St Teresa’s Online Book Club and has over 600 members. We have a nice list of books and lots of author involvement and it is just so cool.

The Catholic Mom’s Prayer Companion by Lisa Hendey (this is also a year long devotional that I will be reading all year, but we are only spending 6 or so weeks on it in the Book Club)
A Walk in Her Sandals  by Kelly Wahlquist

by Sonja Corbitt

Praying The Angelus
by Jared Dees
