{Respect Life Monthly} Vol 2 September 2018

Respect Life Monthly is a new feature on In Earthen Vessels where I share and promote various Pro-Life events, news, organizations, and content with a focus on those local to the Twin Cities.

I am gearing up for a busy season for people in the Respect Life Ministry. 40 Days for Life starts this week and October (which is right around the corner, y’all) is Respect Life Month. My parish teams up with some neighboring parishes to adopt 3 days during the 40 Days to pray in front of the Planned Parenthood in St Paul.

I wish I had some beautiful or otherwise moving original reflection, but I am just mentally stretched thin. Perhaps I will have a reflection next month. Here are the things I have curated from the interwebs this month.

Sexual Revolution: Documentary Film Presentations

Several parishes in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis are hosting special screenings of the new documentary film Sexual Revolution: 50 Years Since Humanae Vitae. Seven years in the making, this film seeks to examine the effects of the free-love experiment of the hippie generation and the prophetic encyclical, Humanae Vitae. The film is not rated. It contains no scenes with sex, violence, or coarse language. It is suitable for the entire family. The film has been endorsed by The Pontifical Council for the Promotion of the New Evangelization. Learn more at sexualrevolutionmovie.com.

Registration for the screenings is recommended, as space is limited. Contact a parish to register.
